Getting to Queenstown
The traffic congestion can be quite bad on the Queenstown to Airport route, and don't forget the potential winter weather fluctuations. We advise not to cut the flight times too tight.
At the airport, all passengers have to pass through security, even on domestic outbound flights, and this can slow boarding.

Queenstown is known for an abundance of AirBnB houses close to the city centre. These could be a good option for larger groups staying together. But be prepared for a walk up some pretty steep hills while you are enjoying the magnificent views the AirBnB's can offer
